This summer my family and I went to Legoland in Denmark. And the amusement park, which was built by Lego, one could see famous buildings like the Eiffel Tower, the White House and the Danish castle.

We also got to see African animals.

It was a very pleasant trip, with many activities for young and old.

I wonder about one thing

The norwegian national flag.

This is a little hard to explain, but I’ll try.

I’m from Norway, has never lived in either Sweden or Denmark, but I still understand both languages as well as my own. And I’m not the only one, most people in these countries understand each other well. Norwegian, Swedish and Danish strains from the same language and has only minor differences.

And here is my question, maybe a little stupid, but I’m genuinely curious. Are there other countries that have very similar language and understand each other?
